How to get to Zoo Negara
Getting to Zoo Negara in Malaysia is easy, whether you’re coming by car, bus, or train. The zoo is located just outside of Kuala Lumpur, and there are a number of ways to get there.
By Car
If you’re coming by car, the easiest way is to take the North-South Expressway and exit at the Taman Melati toll plaza. From there, follow the signs to Zoo Negara. The journey should take around 45 minutes.
By Bus
If you’re coming by bus, there are a number of different routes you can take.
Option #1: From the Leboh Ampang (city center) take Rapid KL 220 that will deliver you straight to the Zoo Negara Bus Stop.
Option #2: Take Rapid KL 253 from Putra LRT Station, Wangsamaju and hop-off at Zoo Negara Bus Stop.
By Light Rail Transit System (LRT)
Take an LRT, Kelana Jaya Line, hop-off at Wangsa Maju station. From there, the best option is to take a taxi.
