Before you go to Boracay Island, have a printed voucher with you for booking or paying for a room at one of the hotels. Without this paper, you may be denied entry to the island. Such rules came into force after the island of Boracay was reopened to tourists in 2018. Under the new island conservation laws, up to 19,000 tourists can stay on the island at any one time.
